Social Media / Information Sharing Resources

  • Lunch Assist has an extensive list of templates, signage and training materials, like these social distancing cards

  • Sea Level Social (Liz Roesel has presented at several SNACT Conferences) has a COVID-19 marketing site for school nutrition professionals. They are also offering free mapping and graphics.  Or make one yourself: in this five-minute video, SEA Level Social shows how to promote your serving sites by creating a custom Google map.

  • School Meals that Rock's  Facebook page offers updates and suggestions for SN  professionals

  • FINE (Farm to Institution New England) has developed this spreadsheet to help coordinate needs and surpluses. It’s not just school specific but might be helpful to some

  • General Mills has marketing tools for emergency feeding programs.

Community Resources

  •  The Resource Locator is an interactive map that helps students and families find resources near them. Created by SAP4Kids: a partnership of GENYOUth, a national nonprofit dedicated to creating healthier school communities, and SAP, market leader in enterprise software solutions.

    Fairfield County’s Community Foundation has established the Fairfield County COVID-19 Resiliency Fund.
